Road Safety News
Be Bright Week got off to a great start on Monday with lots of pupils, teaching staff and even a few parents arriving at school with fantastic bright hats, scarves, gloves , socks and tights. The Junior Travel Ambassadors presented a very informative worship to almost all the school( year 5 were absent due to a planned visit) informing everyone how important it is to be see and stay safe, especially in the darker months.
We all learnt a little bit of history about a Yorkshire man from Halifax, Mr Percy Shaw, who over the years must have helped to save countles lives with his invention, inspired by almost having an accident with a cat on a very foggy night in 1934.
Now for a big Thank You to…
