Our uniform consists of a long or short-sleeved white school shirt/blouse; a house tie; a royal blue sweatshirt/cardigan with the school crest worn over a tartan kilt (not skirt); dark grey trousers or shorts in a sensible, loose-fitting style. No tight trousers, leggings or jeans please.
Gingham dresses may be worn during the summer term (in house colour or colour of choice).
Suitable dark-coloured school shoes should be worn. Trainers are not to be worn apart from during PE lessons. Open-toed sandals are also unsuitable.
During PE lessons, children should wear dark navy or black shorts and a t-shirt in the appropriate house colour or in plain white. Children also need an appropriate, plain tracksuit and trainers. (Plimsolls may also be worn.)
Kilts must be kilts and not tartan skirts. Kilts are available to buy online and are priced very reasonably. They can be machine washed and hung to dry. Your child may wear a kilt of another tartan as long as the skirt is kilt-style.
Children should wear a suitable coat to keep dry and warm. No hoodies, tracksuits or branded tops please.
Children may wear a watch and one small stud in each ear if pierced. Earrings should be removed during PE. If this is not possible, tape must be provided from home to cover earrings during PE lessons.
The colour of your child’s tie denotes which house they are in as follows:
Kilts (in a range of plaids), school sweatshirts and cardigans, book and PE bags, school P.E. T- shirts and waterproof jackets are all available to buy online. See top of page.
Please make sure that all clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s name. The school has no lost property facility since we expect to be able to hand back named, found items straight away. However, if you discover your child has lost an article of clothing, please contact Reception.
