Below is a copy of the Breakfast Club policy and procedure.

From September 2018 we will be offering an After School Club to support families by providing a safe, healthy and creative environment for children from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. This is something that parents have said they would benefit from in parent/carer questionnaires.

The After School Club will be led by existing members of the school staff and will provide children who attend St Mary’s with the opportunity to take part in a range of activities including sport, reading, art and craft, games, use of ipads/laptops and watching children’s DVDs. Children will also be able to complete homework if they wish. Homework Club will continue on Mondays and Tuesdays for selected pupils from 3:30-4:30pm as part of the after school provision.

Snacks will be offered to include, for example: Sandwiches, toast, fruit, yoghurts, biscuits and buns. Orange juice, apple juice, milk and water will also be available.

The Club will take place in the Year 3 area as well as outdoors when appropriate. Children must be collected from the Year 3 external door (by the gate to the Key Stage 2 playground) by parents/carers, not via the main school entrance. Children may be collected at any time up to 5:30pm.

The cost of the club is £6.00 per child, per session. Places must be booked and paid for in advance via the School Gateway. Childcare Vouchers may be used to pay for sessions. Places can be booked from the week commencing 9th July. For children starting EYFS in September, you will only be able to be book your child on the system after their first day of attendance. Please book via the school office for the first week. After this date please book using the School Gateway.
