Football

On Monday the Y5 football team braved the bitter cold conditions to take part in a tournament at Longcroft against other local schools.  The team showed some brilliant skills, perseverance and sportsmanship throughout the evening.  Results are shown below.  Thank you to Mrs Nixon for    walking with the children to the event, Mr Rawlings for coaching throughout the event and the      parents for their continued support.

Picture 1 Year 5/6 football The sporting calendar began this week with the Year 5/6 boys taking part in a football tournament at Longcroft. The teamwork from all players was fantastic. Well done to all the children involved! A total of 6 games were played with the following results: Won—2 Drew—3 Lost—1 Thank you to all parents who came to support their child and to Mr Rawlings for giving up his time to coach the team from the side-lines
