Worship Committee is made up of 2 permanent members (Year 6) and a rotation of 4 temporary members. The Temporary members each have a half term turn in Worship Committee and are made up from representatives of all of the KS2 classes. In an academic year a total of 26 children in KS2 will have a go at being on Worship Committee.
Worship Committee is the pupil voice of the school when it comes to planning and evaluating the effectiveness of worships in school, whether they are held in the classroom, school hall or church.
Worship Committee strives to continuously improve the worships at St Mary’s School and make them interesting, engaging, spiritual and special for the children at our school.
Worship Committee meets every other week but sometimes more often when we have our church services to plan and prepare for.
Worship met this week to plan the Harvest Festival at st Mary's Church.
